Happy Indoguration Day, Major Biden!

As a dog owner and lover, I’m just going to say it: spending the last four years without a dog in the White House has been awful.

It’s a tradition of sorts at this point for the First Family to have some kind of pet living in the White House with them. Unfortunately, the Trump family broke that tradition, spending their White House tenure pet-less.

However, with the Bidens moving in this coming Wednesday, we can anticipate seeing man’s best friend living his best life in America’s house again.

Major Biden will be the first rescue dog to ever live in the White House with the First Family.

To celebrate this moment, the Delaware Humane Association (the shelter from which Major was adopted by the Bidens) is throwing an “Indoguration” party today!

Americans and their pups are invited to virtually attend via Zoom. There is a $10 fee to attend, and, as explained on the event’s webpage, that fee will be donated to help other shelter animals find their families.

From shelter pup at the Delaware Humane Association to First Dog at the White House, Major Biden is barking proof that every dog can live the American dream. To celebrate this historic moment – the first shelter dog ever to live in the White House – and help raise funds to help more shelter animals like Major find their furever homes, DHA & Pumpkin Pet Insurance have teamed up to throw the world’s largest virtual party for dogs!

The party starts at 3:00PM this afternoon and is slated to last one hour.

For more information and to buy your ticket to this one-of-a-kind party, you can visit the Delaware Humane Association’s website here: https://delawarehumane.org/event/major-bidens-indoguration-party/
