Rep. Tim Ryan takes a stand for struggling and poor Americans on the Congress floor

It's been a while since I've seen a stand on the Congress floor that moved me as much as Rep. Tim Ryan's stand this week for the American people, many of whom are now struggling financially, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan's speech came during debate over Joe Biden's $1.9 trillion relief bill, which passed the Senate last week and came back to the House for a final vote before heading to President Biden's desk.

“Can I be real a second? For just a millisecond? Let down my guard and tell the people how I feel a second?”

Not only do I believe Hamilton can teach us in 2020 a lot about patriotism, but I believe it can help instruct us when it comes to casting our ballots on this Election Day.
